Got Inspiration?

 INSPIRATIONAL ARTISTS

These are the artists I go to whenever I find myself with 'scrappers block'.

Irene Tan - Irene, better known as Scrapperlicious is the queen of mixed media!  Love her style & how easily she incorporates the use of different media to create amazing textures on her projects.

Melinda Thompson - Melinda is simply amazing.  I love her use of transparencies & mixed media--she's quite handy with those Shimmerz products & provides tips & tutorials on how she creates her eye catching backgrounds throughout her blog Min's Everyday Moments.

Emma Stafrace - Emma is the mastermind behind the redesign of my blog--need I say more?  Her digital designs are absolutely amazing & what a fantastic artistic eye this girl has!  Her blog Just A Girl With Ideas is full of inspirational digital & traditional scrapbooking elements.

Trudi Harrison - Trudi has an eye for layering--her blog Suits Me To A T is full of eye catching projects.  She's inspired me in many ways to layer the many elements that compose a page in a variety of new & different ways.  I always find inspiration on her blog when it comes to embellishment placement & visual flow.

Gerry Van Gent - Gerry's blog--Gerry's Scrappy Life--is jam packed with inspirational projects & amazing tutorials that walk you through her creative thinking & process.  She's made a name for herself in the scrapping industry & it's very much deserved!

Lisa Griffith - Lisa caught my eye when I visited her blog to comment on an entry for Berry71Bleu.  I immediately loved her style & I noticed right away that she has an amazing artistic eye.  The designs of her pages just 'flow' & she has the ability to add mixed media to her backgrounds without over powering the primary subject of her page.  Whether she decides to keep her designs simple or complex--the end result is always beautifully thought out.  You can see all of her fabulous creations on her blog 'The Paper Attic'.

Athanasia Papantoniou - I just love Athanasia's style. She can go simple or she can get fancy--any style she takes, the end result is always a feast for the eyes.  She's amazing with bright colors. Athanasia will have a bright colored background & then know exactly how to tone it down with the use of mixed media, stencils & stamps.  She also has several off the page projects such as wreaths & clay houses--you just have to check out these adorable clay houses--they're miniature works of art!  You can find Athanasia on her blog 'Athanasia: Me and Myself'.

CHALLENGE YOURSELF

What would we do without challenges?  As a scrapper I love to experiment with new ideas & techniques & what better place to do this than with challenges?

Page Drafts now known as The Nifty Pixel, is a fabulous place for sketch inspiration.  Because of my crazy life style I'm always tight on time--whenever this happens to me I go to Page Drafts for a quick way to come up with an innovative page design.
